Ohio Aquaculture Association Workshop
Saturday, September 17th
9:00 am – 3:00 pm
Location: Second Floor of Retail Barn
Learn about: Pond mangement, weed identification
and control, aquaculture challenges in Ohio and updates
on the new work that’s being done to produce fish feed
right here in Ohio.
Free to festival visitors. Come and go as you please.
Shrimp Peeling and Eating Contest
2:00 pm on Saturday, September 17th
Location: Main Stage
Contestants battle it out to see who can peel and eat
their plate of freshwater shrimp the fastest. This contest
only takes place once during the festival. So, bring your
appetite and be prepared to stuff yourself!
Fee is $5 per person to cover the cost of shrimp.
1st Ever Coloring Contest
ALL WEEKEND – Ends Sunday at 4:30 pm
Location: Coloring Contest Booth
Who can enter? Ages 3-11. We will divide entries
into 3 age categories: 3-5, 6-8 and 9-11. All other
ages may participate for the fun of it! All entries will
be posted at Freshwater Farms for the public to see.
