Local artist, Andrew Paavola, has created a fun festival illustration for the 2016 coloring contest and we can’t wait to see how kids will bring it to life! The illustration features festival mascots Flipper the sturgeon and Harold the shrimp!

Who can enter? Ages 3-12. We will divide entries into 4 age categories: 3-4, 5-6, 7-9 and 10-12. All other ages may participate for the fun of it! All entries will be posted during the festival.
How to enter: Stop by the coloring contest booth at the festival where entry forms, crayons and instructions will be waiting.
To color prior to the festival: Click on the image above. (You’ll need Acrobat Reader installed on your computer to open the file. (Download it for free here.) Print the page and color with crayons only! Turn in entry at the coloring contest booth at the festival.
Deadline: Entries will be accepted until Sunday, September 18th at 4:00pm.
Prizes: One Winner per Age Division. Entries will be judged by our staff members. Winners will be featured on our website, announced on our facebook page and contacted the week following the festival. Each winner will receive a $20 gift certificate from Freshwater Farms of Ohio. Winners will be notified at the contact information provided.
Rules: One entry per person. Freshwater Farms employee’s family members may participate but are not eligible for prizes.
