The WaterSmith Systems designs are based on the use of simple and available materials to allow economical construction and operation. Now at the third generation level of development, these systems offer low energy use, low labor cost and highly stable rearing environments. These recirculating systems have been evaluated with many fish species including rainbow trout, yellow perch, bluegill, hybrid striped bass, fathead minnows, channel catfish, black crappie, large-mouth bass, koi, goldfish and walleye.
