Smoked Trout Chowder
Freshwater Farm’s Smoked Trout Chowder is a mix of chunks of our hardwood-smoked Rainbow Trout, potatoes, fresh “cut off the cob” corn and the perfect mix of herbs and spices. You simply add up 1½ to 2 cups of milk (whole milk or heavy cream for richer chowder) to achieve your desired consistency. Heat thoroughly and enjoy. This concentrated Smoked Trout Chowder base is frozen for your convenience – we suggest moving it from your freezer to your refrigerator first thing in the morning for dinner prep that night. Makes three to four 8 oz. servings.
